About Us

For the Fans. By the Fans. Across All of Time and Space.

Timey Wimey Con is a brand-new Doctor Who fan convention created by the people who know the Whoniverse best — the writers, prop makers, creatives, and superfans who’ve helped bring it to life across generations.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a newly initiated companion, this is your chance to step inside the vortex and experience a weekend of panels, props, cosplay, collectibles, and conversation — all in the company of those who’ve lived the Doctor’s adventures from both sides of the screen.

The convention takes place at Sandmartin House, Peterborough on 22–23 November 2025.

Why Peterborough?

Timey Wimey Con is a brand-new Doctor Who fan convention created by the people who know the Whoniverse best — the writers, prop makers, creatives, and superfans who’ve helped bring it to life across generations.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a newly initiated companion, this is your chance to step inside the vortex and experience a weekend of panels, props, cosplay, collectibles, and conversation — all in the company of those who’ve lived the Doctor’s adventures from both sides of the screen.

Timey Wimey Con is more than just a convention — it’s a chance to regenerate our past while celebrating the future. Every ticket sold is a vote for culture, creativity, and community.

join the legacy

Timey Wimey Con isn’t a one-off celebration — it’s the spark that powers a bigger, bolder, self-sustaining cultural movement in Peterborough.

Your ticket supports the Friends of Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery, who in turn invest in three interconnected pillars of Peterborough’s creative economy:

  1. The Museum and Art Gallery – preserving and showcasing our city’s rich history through exhibitions, learning programmes, and public engagement.
  2. The Cargo Hold – a dynamic new cultural hub in Queensgate Shopping Centre, blending exhibitions, performance, retail, and tourism infrastructure.
  3. The Creators – the artists, prop makers, writers, performers and storytellers who bring the Whoniverse — and our wider cultural world — to life.

But it doesn’t stop there.

As The Cargo Hold, the Museum, and the Art Gallery attract more visitors, and as Timey Wimey Con grows in scale and ambition, income is reinvested back into the system — funding bigger conventions, more exciting exhibitions, and deeper support for the creative people who make it all happen.

It’s a regeneration loop. A circular economy powered by fandom, imagination, and community.

By joining us, you’re not just attending a Doctor Who convention — you’re helping to build a future where culture fuels the city, and the city fuels its culture.
